Cookie banner is the first part of the app that deals with the banner that is visible to the store visitor. The banner provides visitor with options to exercise consent and legitimate interest preferences at granular levels.

The store displays a user friendly dialog (a banner) the first time a user visits your store – no matter what page the user first lands on. The configurable dialog informs the user about the use of cookies and asks for consent to set cookies on the user’s web browser, all with minimum impact on the overall user experience.

GDPR & e-Privacy Page

GDPR & e-Privacy Page is the second part of the app. It’s a page that is under your store pages and is created by the app when you enable this page from inside the app settings.In this page a customer and/or guest can take some actions regarding cookie consent and personal data. These actions are presented in this page as separate sections. These are:

Cookie policy consent

Informs visitors about their current consent status as long as the Cookie banner is enabled. From this section also the visitor can remove his consent.

View & Export data

Informs visitors about their right to request to view and export their data. From this section the visitor can make a request and the application handles it. After the request is made the app sends an email both to the visitor and to the merchant. Finally visitors are viewing and/or exporting their personall data.

Update data

Informs visitors about their right to request their data to be updated. From this section the visitor can make a request and the application handles it. After the request is made the app sends an email both to the visitor and to the merchant. Then the merchant have to access the Update Requests to fulfill the request and inform the visitor.

Delete data

Informs visitors about their right to request their data to be deleted. From this section the visitor can make a request and the application handles it. After the request is made the app sends an email both to the visitor and to the merchant. Then the merchant have to access the Delete Requests to fulfill the request and inform the visitor.
